A standard booking is usually 2 x 45 minute sets. However, this is totally adaptable to your event. For weddings . . . we very often perform for a wedding ceremony and drinks reception and then throughout the wedding breakfast. And for corporate events. . . we will often be on site all day, performing short sets at intervals throughout the day to lighten the mood.

Whatever you need, we can cater to. The beauty of The Pickin’ Mix band, is that we are very adaptable and we can alter the band throughout the day, to make it feel as if the entertainment is really building. So we can start your day with an acoustic duo, or perhaps solo guitar and then add in instruments throughout the day so that you are constantly getting something a little different.

We also have the option to switch the acoustic instruments to electric. So we switch the acoustic guitar for electric guitar, we switch the acoustic bass for electric bass, we switch the cajon and percussion for a full drum kit and then we really ramp up the tempo for a fabulous party vibe with the full five piece band!

We are based between Guildford in Surrey and London but we cover everywhere. Most regularly we perform at events in Surrey, London, Berkshire, Hampshire, Sussex, Kent and Essex. However, we absolutely love performing for international weddings and events and of course we can cover any areas within the UK. Travel fees and accommodation (if needed) will be higher, but this is something we can discuss with you, so that you have all the facts and figures to hand when we give you your bespoke quote.

The golden question! As much as we wish we could, we can’t provide a quote without a little more information about your wedding or event. From there, we will go through all of the details for your event and once we have confirmed the best band line up for your event, we will send you a digital contract. Most of the time, we ask for a 50% deposit to reserve the date and the balance to be paid one month before the event date.

However, for larger corporations such as hotels, we often have a different payment system and if events are very far in the future, we may ask for a smaller deposit.   Equally, some clients prefer to pay everything up front, which of course, is fine too!

YES! We can perform absolutely ANYWHERE. We have small portable battery operated speakers which we pop over our shoulders and give us the capability to perform absolutely anywhere . Whether your ceremony is on a boat in the middle of the ocean, in a field in the depths of a valley or even on a mountain top – if you can get there . . . so can we! We would love nothing more than you to be the next person to invite us to perform somewhere totally unexpected and unusual.
